1. INTRODUCTION
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through www.shinogi.co and explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver your order. For any shipping-related enquiries, please contact us at info@shinogi.co.
Shinogi ships from Hong Kong SAR.
2. ORDER PROCESSING
2.1 Processing Hours Orders are processed Monday to Friday only, excluding Hong Kong public holidays. Orders placed on weekends or Hong Kong public holidays will begin processing on the next available business day.
2.2 Processing Time Please allow 2–3 business days for your order to be processed and prepared for dispatch. This is in addition to the delivery timeframes outlined in this policy. During peak periods or promotional events, processing times may be slightly longer. We will notify you if there is a significant delay to your order.
2.3 Custom & Personalised Orders If your order includes a personalised or custom-made product, additional production time will be required beyond our standard processing window. The estimated timeframe for personalised orders will be indicated on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
2.4 Dispatch Notification Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an automated email notification from Shopify containing your tracking information and a link to track your delivery in real time.
3. DOMESTIC SHIPPING (HONG KONG)
3.1 Carrier All domestic orders within Hong Kong are shipped via SF Express.
3.2 Shipping Costs Domestic shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order and delivery details. Specific rates will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
3.3 Free Domestic Shipping Orders with a subtotal of HK$500 or above qualify for free domestic shipping. This threshold is calculated on the product subtotal before any applicable taxes or fees and after any discount codes have been applied.
3.4 Estimated Delivery Timeframe Once dispatched, domestic orders within Hong Kong are typically delivered within 2–3 business days. This is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.
3.5 Click & Collect We do not currently offer a click and collect or local pickup option.
4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
4.1 Destinations Shinogi ships worldwide. We reserve the right to restrict shipping to certain destinations where courier services have been suspended or where delivery is not reasonably practicable due to geopolitical circumstances, international sanctions, or carrier restrictions. In such cases, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
4.2 Carriers International orders are fulfilled via FedEx, DHL, or UPS, depending on the best available rates and service to your destination at the time of dispatch. We reserve the right to select the most appropriate carrier for your order.
4.3 Shipping Costs All international shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination, order weight, and dimensions. The applicable shipping cost will be displayed clearly before you complete your purchase. Free shipping is not available on international orders.
4.4 Estimated Delivery Timeframe Once dispatched, international orders are estimated to arrive within 7 business days. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary depending on your location, customs processing, and carrier operational conditions.
4.5 PO Boxes & Freight Forwarders Shinogi does not ship to PO boxes or freight forwarder addresses. Orders placed using a freight forwarder address will not be fulfilled, and Shinogi accepts no responsibility for any orders redirected through a freight forwarder after delivery.
5. DUTIES, TAXES & CUSTOMS
5.1 Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) All international orders are shipped on a Delivered Duty Unpaid basis. This means that any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, or other charges levied by the destination country's authorities are not included in our product prices or shipping charges and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
5.2 Customs Processing Customs clearance procedures vary by country and are entirely outside of Shinogi's control. Any delays caused by customs processing are not included in our estimated delivery timeframes and Shinogi accepts no liability for such delays. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order.
5.3 Tax & VAT Collection Shinogi does not collect or remit VAT, GST, or local sales tax on behalf of customers for international orders. Any applicable local taxes are the customer's responsibility and will be collected by the relevant authorities or carrier upon delivery.
5.4 Refused or Returned Shipments If you refuse delivery of an international order due to unexpected duties or taxes, or if the order is returned to us as a result, Shinogi reserves the right to deduct the original shipping costs and any return shipping costs incurred from any refund issued.
6. DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES & DELAYS
6.1 Estimates Only All delivery timeframes provided by Shinogi are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery dates may be affected by factors outside our control including but not limited to carrier capacity, customs processing, weather conditions, and public holidays in the destination country.
6.2 Significant Delays If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at info@shinogi.co. We will investigate the matter with the relevant carrier on your behalf and keep you updated on the outcome.
6.3 Force Majeure Shinogi shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather events, pandemics, labour disputes, carrier disruptions, customs delays, geopolitical events, or government restrictions. In such circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to fulfil your order as soon as conditions allow.
7. LOST, STOLEN & UNDELIVERED PARCELS
7.1 Parcel Marked as Delivered but Not Received If your tracking information shows your order as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us at info@shinogi.co within 7 days of the marked delivery date. We will investigate the matter with the carrier. If the parcel is confirmed as lost, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
7.2 Post-Delivery Responsibility Once an order has been confirmed as delivered to the address provided at checkout, responsibility for the parcel passes to the customer. Shinogi accepts no liability for parcels that are lost or stolen after a confirmed delivery has taken place.
7.3 Returned to Sender If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address being provided at checkout, failed delivery attempts, or an uncollected parcel, we will notify you by email. Reshipping of returned orders will be arranged at the customer's expense. Shinogi is not responsible for delivery failures arising from inaccurate address information provided by the customer.
7.4 Signature on Delivery For orders with a total value of USD $100 or above, a signature will be required upon delivery. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, the carrier will follow their standard redelivery or depot collection process. Please ensure someone is available to sign for high-value orders at your delivery address.
8. PRE-ORDERS
From time to time, certain Shinogi products may be available for pre-order prior to their release or restock. Where a product is listed as a pre-order, the estimated dispatch timeframe will be clearly communicated on the product page at the time of purchase. Standard processing and delivery timeframes do not apply to pre-order items. By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and accept the extended dispatch timeline associated with that product. We will notify you by email once your pre-order has been dispatched.
9. AMENDMENTS TO THIS POLICY
Shinogi reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted to our website. We recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed of our current shipping terms.
